| GCC FAST GROWTH 100
Arcapita is the sole sponsor of the GCC Fast Growth 100 (GCC 100), which has been set up by the AllWorld Network, to find and support the growth entrepreneurs of the GCC. AllWorld Network was founded by Professor Michael Porter and two colleagues, all of whom have written and presented extensively on the subject of entrepreneurship. The GCC 100 is a major step in their initiative to build a global network of growth entrepreneurs in the emerging markets of the world. To date, they have created country rankings in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, India and South Africa. The GCC 100 is the first region-wide ranking, and is the pre-cursor to the Arabia 500. The winners will be announced in Bahrain in October 2011.
